The objective of this report is to capture what was meant by the research 'Caminando hacia el abismo' (Walking towards the abyss) of 2006, of which I was a co-author, focusing the attention on the technique of qualitative interviews. Thus, this article will present a review of these interviews, re-elaborating the three phases of a qualitative interview: preparation, performance and analysis, the latter being the one that has received the most attention.
