Educational Tools – Multi-Project Leadership

Challenge:

Lead the design of multiple educational tools within UNIR, ensuring usability, consistency, and scalability across platforms. Projects included session monitoring, exam management, calendar management, student enrollment (Multitodo), and the UNIR digital library. The main challenge was coordinating cross-departmental requirements while maintaining a coherent Design System and high-quality deliverables.

Action:

Oversaw the Design System and its continuous updates, ensuring component consistency and integration across projects.
Conducted functional document reviews and scenario mapping to anticipate edge cases and optimize flows.
Coordinated with multiple departments (business, development, UI designers) using Kanban methodology for transparent workflow.
Mentored UI designers, providing guidance on design best practices and system implementation.
Led the Gestor de Calendarios Académicos project independently, from research and ideation to final delivery, including wireframes, prototypes, and user flow design.
Presented design proposals and improvements to business stakeholders to align goals with user needs.

Result:

Successfully delivered multiple tools aligned with UNIR's educational and operational goals.
Gestor de Calendarios launched with optimized workflows, reducing scheduling errors and increasing administrative efficiency.
Design System maintained and expanded, enabling faster development and consistent UI across projects.
